I mean, you’re literally steps away from Central Station, which sounds touristy but is actually brilliant when you’re hauling luggage or planning day trips.

Gamla Stan is a pleasant walk across the water, and you’re close enough to Drottninggatan’s shopping that you’ll probably end up there without even planning it. The Norrmalm district has this great energy — busy enough to feel alive, but not so chaotic that you can’t enjoy a quiet morning coffee. Couples seem to absolutely love this area (they rate the location 9.6, which is pretty impressive), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about being right in the mix of things.

Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers

You know what’s rare in city hotels? Actually comfortable beds that don’t feel like they’ve been through a thousand guests before you. The room I stayed in had one of those beds that makes you want to hit snooze three times — and apparently I’m not alone in thinking this, because the hotel gets consistently high marks for sleep quality. The rooms have that Scandinavian minimalism thing going on, which works well when you just want a clean, uncluttered space to recharge. There’s something about the way they’ve designed the lighting that makes even the standard rooms feel more spacious than they probably are.

They do the Scandinavian breakfast thing well, with good bread, quality coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. I actually found myself looking forward to the morning routine, which says something. The dining area gets decent natural light, and there’s usually a good mix of business travelers and tourists, so the atmosphere feels pretty relaxed.

  Everything was perfect. Location, clean and beautiful room, extraordinary terrace, very good breakfast. The view from our room was fabulous.

  Close to the train station with almost immediate access to the Arlanda express train. At the same time close to the city centre. I enjoyed my quick stay before leaving early in the morning. The room was very small (Single room without windows), but it was on the top floor so very calm and a fantastic view from the windows at the elevator.

  I really loved the location. I went for a standard bedroom with no view so I expected it to be tiny! But it was pretty decent. Breakfast was included in the price that I went for however, I missed it by 5mins and they were putting everything away. I still managed to try some savory but I really wanted the fruit as I don't like to eat savory in the morning .There was also no option for alternative or oatmilk for my coffee..

  Located conveniently across the main train station and adjacent to the metro station, the location is just one of the great things about this hotel. It is very close to the old town (Gamla Stan), and all other popular tourist attractions. The breakfast served in the morning is good with a wide spread and number of options for meat eaters and vegans. The gym is spacious, nicely equipped and available round the clock. The friendly staff interact with a smile and their behaviour does not depend on your passport or colour of your skin.
