Edsviken Hotell AB Overview
First Impressions
You know what struck me about Edsviken Hotell AB? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you — and somehow that makes it even more appealing. Located on Sollentunavägen in Stockholm, this three-star property sits in what I’d call a sweet spot between the city buzz and suburban calm. The building itself has that understated Swedish charm, nothing flashy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that puts you at ease from the moment you arrive.
The Location Game-Changer
Here’s where this place really shines — the location is honestly fantastic, and I mean that. Recent guests have been rating it 8.0 out of 10, which makes total sense once you experience it yourself. You’re close enough to Stockholm’s main attractions without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window. What couples seem to love (they’ve given it an 8.0 rating for romantic trips) is that you get this nice balance of accessibility and tranquility. Plus, there’s parking available right on site, which — trust me — is worth its weight in gold when you’re navigating Stockholm with a car.
The Room Experience
The accommodations here are what I’d describe as thoughtfully simple. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I actually needed without unnecessary frills. The beds are proper Swedish quality — firm but not hard, and the linens feel fresh. Windows let in plenty of natural light, which is something you really appreciate during those shorter winter days. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, with good water pressure and reliable hot water (honestly, sometimes it’s the basics that matter most).
Practical Perks
What I really appreciated were the little things that make a stay smoother. The staff knows the area well and can give you solid recommendations that go beyond the typical tourist spots. The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the building — no dead zones or constant reconnecting. And that on-site parking I mentioned? It’s not just available, it’s reasonably priced and secure, which removes one major headache from your Stockholm visit. The whole operation feels efficiently run without being impersonal.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel you’ve ever stayed in, but it delivers on what actually matters for a good trip. The 7.9 overall rating reflects exactly what you get — solid, reliable hospitality in a genuinely great location. Couples keep coming back because it offers that rare combination of romance-friendly surroundings and practical convenience. You can easily explore Stockholm’s highlights during the day, then return to a peaceful base that doesn’t break the bank. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that simply do their job well, and Edsviken Hotell AB definitely falls into that category.
Hotels in Stockholm span Gamla Stan alleys, waterfront promenades, and skylines of spires and glass.

Reviews of Edsviken Hotell AB
Viktorija from Lithuania (8/10)
Very tidy, owner super friendly and helpful.
Raza from Sweden (8/10)
Nice and clean rooms. Not really what one would expect from a hotel but it was worthy for the price. The bed was comfortable, as it was winter so the heating was perfect. Hot water in the shower. Complementary tea and coffee. We met one of the staff members at the entrance who was nice and helpful (however there is no reception).
Jonas from Sweden (9/10)
Full pentry with kitchen supplies and a fridge. Plenty of coffee in a stylish jar. Shower cream in the shower. Smart-tv with wifi for youtube and netflix.

Anna from Spain (8/10)
It is very quiet location and only 15 min drive from city centre. Bed was super comfortable. We needed few additional pillows and I send an email to the property and it was late evening. We didn't expect they will answer us that night but 20 min later someone very kindly knocked our door to don't wake us up. And that lady brought us pillows. It was surprisingly nice. Thank you.

Mathias from Denmark (8/10)
It was fairly clean, and there was coffee and tea available in the room as well a kettle, there was also also snacks and fizzy drinks available in the vending machine for a decent price, the host let us arrive early, without charge. The place wasn't far from the station where commuter trains run often, so very easy to go to Stockholm in less than 45 minutes.
