Best Western Plus Time Hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Best Western Plus Time Hotel on Vanadisvägen, you immediately get that feeling of “oh, this is actually nice” — you know, when a place exceeds your expectations without trying too hard. It’s a four-star property that sits comfortably in Stockholm’s Vasastan district, and honestly, the lobby has this clean, modern Scandinavian vibe that feels both welcoming and sophisticated. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, not that rehearsed hotel politeness, and you can tell right away this isn’t your typical chain experience.

The Vasastan Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — Vasastan is where actual Stockholmers live, not just where tourists pass through. You’re on a tree-lined street that feels residential but you’re still incredibly close to everything that matters. The Odenplan metro station is practically around the corner, which means you can reach Gamla Stan or the trendy Södermalm district in minutes. But honestly, you might find yourself just wandering the neighborhood instead — there are cozy cafés, local shops, and that authentic Stockholm atmosphere you can’t get in the more touristy areas.

Room Experience

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed with those clean lines and muted colors that Scandinavians do so well. What struck me most was the attention to detail — good lighting for actually reading, plenty of outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the soundproofing is solid, which matters when you’re on a city street. You get that sense they’ve really thought about what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos.

Morning Fuel

The breakfast here is where this place really shines — it’s a proper buffet with both continental options and heartier fare. I mean, you’ve got your typical European spread, but they also include some Swedish specialties that give you a real taste of the local food culture. The restaurant area has big windows that let in tons of natural light, and there’s something really pleasant about starting your day there with a proper cup of coffee. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually fuels you for a day of exploring rather than leaving you hunting for food an hour later.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this hotel apart is how many people come back — there’s clearly something special happening when guests choose to return rather than try somewhere new. The combination of the neighborhood location, genuinely helpful staff, and that reliable comfort level creates an experience that feels both distinctly Swedish and universally welcoming. Parking is available if you’re driving, which is actually pretty valuable in this part of Stockholm. It’s one of those places where everything just works smoothly, and you end up recommending it to friends because you know they’ll have a good experience too.

The location was really good, right next to a very well connected station so getting around was a breeze. Also, breakfast selection was great, literalist had too much choice. Would 100% recommend staying here!

  • Guillermo from Spain (9/10)

Fantastic. The rooms are normal-sized, but clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom with heated floor available. The location is quite convenient, not so close to the city center on foot (25-30') but next to public transportation, including the bus station to and from Arlanda airport. Big supermarket right next door. But the best part of all is the breakfast; superb, one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. Huge variety, quality, nice and quiet breakfast lounge. Just fantastic.

  • Fouad from United Arab Emirates (8/10)

The hotel is located with in a short walk rom the bus stop and a 10 minute walk from the metro station. The room is comfortable and fairly large. The bed was comfortable and had large wall to ceiling windows. Breakfast was good with a large spread.

  • Edward from United Kingdom (8/10)

Very good selection for breakfast, including plenty of gluten free and lactose free options (while I don’t need this myself, it’s really good to see).
Room and bed very comfy, practical layout and everything I needed.
    WiFi worked well.
Staff friendly and accommodating with a smile.
Either the hotel was quiet when I stayed or there was good noise insulation.
Large supermarket next door handy if you like to pick up some supplies.
