Mornington Hotel Bromma Overview
First Impressions
The Mornington Hotel Bromma sits quietly on Norrbyvägen, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This four-star property doesn’t scream for attention — it just delivers what you need without the fuss. I mean, when you’re staying in Bromma, you’re already choosing a more relaxed pace than central Stockholm, and this hotel gets that completely. The building has this understated Scandinavian elegance that feels both modern and welcoming, though you won’t mistake it for a flashy downtown hotel.
Location & Neighborhood
Bromma is one of those areas that locals love but tourists often overlook, which actually works in your favor. You’re about 20 minutes from Stockholm’s city center, but the trade-off is worth it — especially if you’re flying since Bromma Airport is practically next door. The neighborhood has this residential feel with tree-lined streets and local cafes that don’t cater to tour groups. You know what’s nice? Walking around here in the evening feels genuinely peaceful, and there are enough restaurants within walking distance that you won’t feel stranded.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean and functional — exactly what you’d expect from a well-run Swedish hotel. Nothing overly fancy, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had good water pressure (trust me, that matters after a long day). What struck me was how quiet everything was; you really don’t hear much from neighboring rooms or the street. The decor leans minimalist without feeling cold, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly. Small detail, but the lighting was thoughtfully done — you can actually read in bed without squinting.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is honestly better than I expected. They’ve got a proper buffet with vegetarian and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The coffee is strong (very important), and they actually have fresh fruit that looks like someone cares about quality. I noticed quite a few repeat guests during breakfast — apparently this place has more loyal customers than most hotels, and after staying here, I get why. The restaurant area has big windows that let in plenty of natural light, making morning meals feel less rushed and more civilized.
Why Guests Love It
This hotel works particularly well for couples — there’s something about the quiet atmosphere and thoughtful touches that creates a relaxed vibe. You’re not dealing with large tour groups or business conferences taking over the lobby. The staff seems to remember faces, which makes sense given how many people return here. It’s not trying to be the most exciting hotel in Stockholm, but sometimes you just want a place that does the basics really well without any drama. If you’re looking for a solid base that won’t break the budget but still feels properly comfortable, Mornington Hotel Bromma delivers exactly that.

Absolutely delighted with the stay. Neat rooms with all the facilities you need for a short stay. Great breakfast spread. An absolute value for money. Would definitely recommend to all my friends/colleagues visiting Stockholm/Bromma.

Besides the fact that the room was a little bit too small for
my personal preference, staying there was perfect!
even though the breakfast was crowded it was delicious with so much variety!
Also they have by far the best hotel gym i’ve ever been to, also the sauna is a huge plus!Viktoriia from Slovakia (7/10)
Breakfast was tasty. The lady on the front desk was very welcoming and helped a lot with public transport information and what to pay attention to while in the city.

The facility is generally good
Aelita from Latvia (9/10)
The room was very clean, very cozy, good bed. We stayed for 1 night and it was good, the room was small, but for a few nights it will be okay for you. The staff was extremely polite and nice. The breakfast was amazing, my husband who has a lot of dietary restrictions found a lot to eat – smoothies, vitamin shots, a stand with gluten and dairy free products. Also fruits, vegetables, omelets, sausages, bread and a lot more
