Elite Hotel Marina Tower, Spa & Resort Overview
First Impressions
The Elite Hotel Marina Tower, Spa & Resort sits right on the waterfront in Stockholm, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re literally steps from the harbor at Saltsjöqvarns Kaj, with boats bobbing just outside your window. This four-star property has that sleek Scandinavian vibe you’d expect, but what struck me most was how it manages to feel both modern and welcoming — not always easy to pull off. The hotel’s design seamlessly blends contemporary elegance with warm hospitality, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
The Waterfront Setting
You know what’s great about staying here? You’re in Nacka, which gives you this perfect balance of being close to central Stockholm but away from the tourist crowds. The ferry connections from nearby make getting into the city center actually pretty straightforward, and couples seem to absolutely love this spot — they’ve rated the location 9.1, which honestly doesn’t surprise me. There’s something about waking up to water views that just sets the right tone for exploring Stockholm’s archipelago. The proximity to nature combined with urban accessibility makes this location particularly appealing for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
Rooms and Comfort
The room I stayed in was spacious by Stockholm standards, and those beds — well, they’ve got a reputation for being exceptionally comfortable, and it’s totally deserved. The decor leans into that clean, minimalist Swedish aesthetic without feeling cold or sterile. What I appreciated was the attention to detail in the furnishings and how the windows actually open (not always a given in modern hotels). The spa facilities are a real highlight too, especially after a day of walking around the city. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with quality linens and modern amenities that enhance your overall comfort.
Breakfast Experience
Breakfast here is actually impressive — they’ve got this extensive buffet setup that covers pretty much every dietary need you can think of. Continental options, full English breakfast, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American-style — I mean, they’ve really thought this through. The restaurant space overlooks the water, so you’re starting your day with those harbor views while figuring out your Stockholm plans. The quality is solid too, not just quantity. Fresh ingredients and attentive service ensure that your morning meal sets a positive tone for the day ahead.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Stockholm can be expensive and sometimes impersonal, but this place gets the balance right. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work, and there’s enough space here that you don’t feel cramped even when it’s busy. The parking facilities are conveniently located, and the spa gives you a reason to actually relax instead of just rushing from one sight to another. The waterfront location means you’re experiencing a side of Stockholm that many visitors miss entirely. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself lingering over coffee in the morning, planning your day while watching the boats go by.
Early hotels booking in Stockholm secures Lucia concerts, ice-skating nights, and aurora boat safaris.

Friendly and efficient staff. Great interiors, clean, stylish, spacious and comfortable hotel. Amazing spa. Great view from the room. Local ferry stop right outside the hotel was very useful. Lovely tranquil location by the water with a view of the main city area and wooded areas across the water. The windows could be opened and fresh air let in which is increasingly rare in hotels! Room service was good quality. Breakfast was fantastic.
